Sooji halwa

Ingredients:

Sooji/Rava : 1bowl

Sugar: 1bowl

Ghee: 1 bowl
Water: 4 bowls


Optional-Crushed cardamom, saffron, dry fruits

Method:
Dry roast the sooji till it turns brown. Keep the flame a little low so as not to burn the sooji particles. Add ghee and stir to mix the ghee and the sooji properly. Then add sugar and stir the mixture for a while. In the meanwhile take the water in a vessel and let it boil.
Once the water boils, add it to the sooji mix. Continuously stir on high flame till the water completely dries off.
